Texas A&M beat Texas Tech 7-6 in dramatic fashion as Jared Cashore hit a walk off HR to lead off the bottom of the 10th. Texas A&M will now make their first World Series appearance since 2004. Read the full wrap up

Penn State beat Cortland 12-0 in game one today forcing a final deciding game. In the finals of the NAR, PSU defeated Cortlant 9-2 claiming their 9th Regional Title.

Georgia punched their ticket to their first NCBA World Series appearance by beating App State 9-8 on a 2 out walk off single by Chris Holmes in the bottom of the 9th.

5/16/2010 -- MID-AMERICA REGIONAL CHAMPIONS

Colorado State punched their ticket to the World Series by beating Mizzou 4-2.

5/16/2010 -- CARDIAC CHIPPEWAS TAKE GREAT LAKES REGIONAL TITLE

Central Michigan battled back in extra innings with a 6 to 5 win thanks to a two out bases loaded single by Matt Witkowski scoring two and earning the 2010 Great Lakes Regional Title.

Texas A&M beat Texas Tech 3-1 in a rain soaked game 1. TTU got the best of A&M in game 2 5-2. Weather should be better on Sunday for the Regional Deciding game.

5/15/2010 -- SOUTH ATLANTIC REGIONAL

Florida ended FSU's season by beating them 8-7. UGA hangs on to defeat App State 14-12. App State then went out and stunned Florida, ending their season with a 11-3 loss.

5/15/2010 -- MID-AMERICA REGIONAL

Mizzou ended Iowa's season by beating them 6-5 in 11 innings. CSU is beat Kansas 19-6 after a several hour rain delay. Missouri then went out and pulled the plug on Kansas' season with a 11-1 defeat.

5/15/2010 -- NORTH ATLANTIC UPDATE

Rutgers ended Delaware's season by beating them 6-4. Cortland upset top seeded Penn State 9-7 in 11 innings. Penn State then eliminated Rutgers 11-2.

Georgia upsets Florida State 6-5 while Appalachian State took down the mighty Florida Gators 7-6.

5/14/2010 -- MID-AMERICA REGIONAL

Colorado State takes down Mizzou 3-1 while Kansas slips by Iowa 4-3.

The Texas A&M Aggies used dominant pitching to sweep through the 2009 Gulf Coast Preseason Tournament, including a no-hitter against TCU and a 1-hit shutout of Baylor in the championship game. Also participating in the tournament were Baylor, UH-Downtown, and TCU. Tournament Results

5/29/2008 -- GUESS WHO'S BACK????

Reggie Rossi (3-4, 2 R) and MVP Brian Dilley (2-3, 1 RBI) led the Rams at the plate while Cooper Liggett, Hunter Haggerty, and Jake Fox combined to allow only one earned run on eight hits while walking only one batter as the Colorado State Rams defeated the Penn State Nittany Lions 5 to 1  in the 2008 NCBA World Series Championship Game for their 4th title in 5 years.

5/28/2008 -- THE CHUCK WAGON LEADS RAMS TO TITLE GAME

Brian Chuckran and Brian Dilley drove in four runs a piece and Robert Moller pitched eight strong innings again as Colorado State returns to the National Championship game  after defeating the Oregon Ducks, 14 to 3.

5/28/2008 -- LATE INNING RALLY BY TEAM FROM HAPPY VALLEY

Penn State broke a 2 – 2 tie in the top of the ninth when Joe Halackna drove in Rudolf Hersh with the go-ahead run as the Nittany Lions advanced to the Championship game  after defeating a resilient NC State team 5 to 2. David Hine earned the win by throwing a complete game allowing one earned run on eight hits.

5/27/2008 -- NO DILLEY DALLYING BY THE RAMS

Brian Dilley's two extra base hits (2B, 3B) plated three CSU players and Nicholas Jeanette allowed only one hit in 5 2/3 innings of play as the Rams defeated the Oregon Ducks, 7 to 2  in the final game of Day 5 of the 2008 World Series.

5/27/2008 -- SEWELL SO SWEET

Garrett Sewell threw 8 2/3 innings allowing 1 ER (5 Runs) and struck out seven earning the win while pacing the Wolfpack at the plate was Kirk Bell (4 for 5) and John Gann (3-run HR) as NC State snaps Penn State's 25 game  winning streak with a 7 to 5 win.

5/26/2008 -- RAMS KEEP CHIPPING AWAY COMPETITION

Colorado State held off a ninth inning surge by Central Michigan and avenged an earlier defeat to them with a 5 to 3 victory.  Hunter Haggerty was clutch on the mound throwing eight strong innings and Sam Hayes was 2 for 3 with an RBI at the plate.

5/26/2008 -- WOLVES REFUSE TO PACK IT IN

NC State came up with yet another late inning come from behind rally, scoring three in the bottom of the ninth to defeat Virginia Tech, 12 to 11.  Late sub Tyler Wilson's single in the ninth plated two Wolfpack runners and John Gann's two hits and four RBI's aided the big comeback victory.

5/25/2008 -- LIONS POUNCE ON PACK OF WOLVES

Penn State extended their winning streak to 25 games by beating NC State 13 to 6 in the final game of day three  at the 2008 World Series. Albright and Park led the offensive attack with three hits and three RBI's each.

5/25/2008 -- DUCKS ON THE POND IN FORT MYERS

Oregon's high powered offense was too much for Central Michigan to handle as the Ducks advance after a 9 to 2 win.  Nick Johnson and Andrew Murphy had two hits each and Brad Terada hit a two run homerun providing plenty of run support for Bryan Hanson who threw 7 solid innings earning the win.

5/25/2008 -- FEAR THE MIGHTY TURKEY!

The Hokies came out of the box swinging put up 6 runs in the first and never looked back  as they went on to defeat Arizona 21 to 3 led by Atkins (4 for 4) and Waller (3 H, 3 RBI's).

5/24/2008 -- DILLY'S DILLIGENCE PAYS OFF

Brian Dilly of Colorado State edged out Chris Crum of Virginia tech with 14 home runs in the last two rounds to take home the DeMarini Longball Challenge title. 

5/24/2008 -- CSU SAYS SEE YOU TO BU

Colorado State exploded for five runs in the sixth thanks to a three-run homer  by Brian Dilley. Brian Moller threw eight innings of two hit ball as the Rams advance after a 12 to 1 win over Baylor.

5/24/2008 -- WOLFPACK CLIP CATS CLAWS

In a wild extra-inning affair NC State outlasted Arizona, winning 14 to 11.  The Wolfpack were paced by Munoz and Gann who had 4 hits each and Lambert drove in three runs.

5/23/2008 -- NAIL BITER IN NIGHT GAME

Penn State and Virginia Tech went back and forth in the night game as the Nittany Lions edged out the Hokies 5 to 4  behind Tim Ryan's 3 for 5, with two RBI night at the plate. Nick Powden plated Vic Evangelist in the bottom of the 7th for the go ahead run.

5/23/2008 -- DUCKS ATTACK BEARS AT FORT MYERS

In a slug fest, Baylor came back from a five run deficit to tie the game in the fifth inning, but Oregon countered with twelve runs over the next four innings  led by Scott Marchione's 3 hits and 3 RBI's, to defeat the Bears 18 to 10 in game two of the day.

Jay Schabel hit two homeruns and drove in five runs for Central Michigan as they held off a four run ninth inning rally to advance with a 6 to 5 win in game one  of the 2008 World Series.

5/30/2007 -- TARHEELS STAMP THEIR FEET INTO NCBA HISTORY

The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill became the first team east of the Mississippi to win the NCBA World Series. One of the most exciting Championship games to date,  UNC saw their six run lead disappear in the 7th inning when Oregon’s Bryan Hansen hit a two-run homerun to tie the game. But MVP of the World Series, Chris McCurdy, came up huge when it mattered the most. His RBI sac fly in the bottom of the seventh proved to be the difference in the game as the TarHeels held on to beat Oregon 8 to 6.

Oregon advanced to their first National Championship game after a brilliant pitching performance by Bryan Hansen who threw eight innings allowing no earned runs and also went 2 for 3 at the plate  in the 2 to 1 victory over Penn State.

The first game of the day featured #1 ranked Colorado State and #2 ranked Penn State in the latest NCBA polls. A rematch of last year’s national championship game saw David Hine throw a complete game allowing zero earned runs  and helped Penn State stay alive with a 2 to 1 victory.

Maryland used speed and timely hitting by Daniel Pichardo and Kevin Tehansky who combined to go 7 for 9 with seven RBI’s, three runs, and two stolen bases  to put Sam Houston away for good after a four run seventh as they won 10 to 5 in the final game of day four.

Penn State erased a two run deficit in the fifth inning with three runs of their own and went on to eliminate Illinois 5 to 2  behind a strong pitching performance from Greg Lisa who struck out 11 in the first game of day three.

Michigan State outlasted Ohio State in the continuation of Saturday's game 11-10. Ohio State then fell to Illinois 5-3, thus ending OSU's run to the World Series. Illinois beat Michigan State to force a final Winner Take all championship where Michigan State's cinderella run came to an end  as Illinois took the GLR Championship 13-0.

5/15/2005 -- SOUTH EAST ATLANTIC REGIONAL DAY 2

Clemson got revenge on Georgia by knocking them out of the tournament 9-1. But that momentum fell short as NC State defeated Clemson 10-4 to take the SEA Regional Crown and the #4 seed at the NCBA World Series.

5/15/2005 -- NORTHERN PACIFIC REGIONAL DAY 3

Western Washington has made the most of their At Large Bid and knocked UCLA out of the regional. Next they had to face in conference rival Oregon, whom they had to beat twice to go to the World Series. They took game 1 but fell in the second game 7-0 sending Oregon to their second consecutive World Series.

5/14/2005 -- NORTHERN PACIFIC REGIONAL DAY 2

#1 Seed UCLA lost to Oregon and now heads to the losers bracket to face Western Washington who knocked Weber State our of the Regional earlier today.

5/14/2005 -- SOUTH EAST ATLANTIC REGIONAL DAY 1

NC STATE took down GA Southern 10-6 and Georgia came from behind to send Clemson to meet GA Southern in the losers bracket. Clemson ended GA Southern's season with a 12-8 win and will have a rematch tomorrow with Georgia who fell to NC State 10-4.

Colorado State took game 1 against Colorado-Colorado Springs 6-0 and then lit the aluminum in game two for an 18-0 sweep and a ticket back to the NCBA World Series as the #1 seed.

Illinois knocked defending regional champ, Central Michigan, out of the tournament. Ohio State and Michigan State were locked at 10-10 when rains came postponing the finish of the game.

The UMASS Minutemen outlasted the Penn State Nittany Lions 10-7 to claim their first NEA Regional Championship and sent the Lions home without their 5th consecutive World Series Appearance.

Another beautiful day in Williamsport and another great series of games. Rutgers sent Cornell packing with a 10-2 victory. In the second game, #3 seed UMass pulled a stunning upset of Penn State, 5-4. In the days final matchup, Penn State's 10-6 win ended Rutgers' solid season.

5/7/2005 -- Sam Houston Wins Gulf Coast Regional Playoff

The Bearkats swept the Aggies this weekend in Pasadena to earn the title of Gulf Coast Champion and their first ever trip to the NCBA World Series. This marks the first time in three years that a team other than the Aggies will represent the Gulf Coast in the World Series. Congratulations to both teams and good luck to the Bearkats in Bradenton!
